Therefore I was angry with that generation, And said, ‘They always go astray in their heart, And they have not known My ways.’
Beloved,
If you decided to be a member of a church, let your heart be there. If you decide to get married, let your heart be in your marriage. The devil loves to lead believers astray and one way he does it by getting us into the habit of allowing our minds to wander about. If you realize you have any habits that include your mind wandering about aimlessly, habitually; don’t trivialize it. See it as a warning sign and adjust yourself asap!
Train your mind to fully engage with the conversations you are having, especially with people that are critical to your destiny. You’ve heard the saying, familiarity breeds contempt. It’s easy to become complacent and sloppy with people no matter how important they are to you, the closer you get to them. Train yourself not to be so familiar. Train yourself to see value there and treat relationships as such with your full attention and participation. Stop following God with your mouth and actions while your heart is far away from God. It is time to give God all that He desires of us so we can enjoy His desired outcomes for our lives.
