Lessons From The Events Surrounding The Birth of Jesus – Partner With God (I)

Matthew 1:18

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with the child of the Holy Spirit.

The holiday season is upon us again! Christmas is around the corner, and we have many reasons to show our gratitude to God for yet another opportunity to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. As we celebrate, I would like to share with you reasons why this season is important to us as children of God. My prayer is that upon reflection, may these points open you more to the wealth of grace and glory we have in our relationship with the Heavenly Father and with our Lord Jesus Christ through His Spirit.

I would like to begin by telling you that God is still looking for people to partner with. The story of the birth of Jesus Christ tells us that God is always looking for a man. Be reminded that prophecy had gone ahead of Jesus that He was to be born. When that prophecy was to come to manifestation, there must be a man(woman) that must come into partnership with God and cooperate with Him to bring it to fulfillment. Anytime God wants to do something on this side of eternity, He will always need a man to cooperate with Him. The reason is because God is a Spirit and whatever must be done legitimately on earth must be done by someone who has a body. It is illegal for a spirit to be functioning on this side of eternity without having a body. That is why every spirit will always look for a body to work with. 

The plan of God is to save the earth through Jesus, but Jesus will only be legal on earth by having a body. Furthermore, any man that must have a body on this side of eternity must pass through a woman because a woman is a gate. If Jesus is to be born, then He must be born to earthly parents and live a normal life like any other person. So, God was looking for a man and a woman, a virgin for that matter to do that assignment for Him. Till now, God is still looking for a man He will partner with. He is still in search of people that will introduce the kingdom to other people out there. He is looking for you.
