DO NOT YIELD – Part 5: From Sin’s Grip to God’s Grace

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Beloved,

One of the ways to activate peace in your life is to present yourself before the carriers of peace (Matthew 25:9; Luke 10:6). There are people that carry peace, when your peace is depleting; know who carries peace for you and fellowship with them. Occasionally you may find yourselves at points where we cannot carry through ourselves, and something happens that just depletes your peace. When that season happens in your life, what must you do? Go and meet people that carry peace.

The way to identify such people is that when your path crosses theirs, you will suddenly discover that anxiety has left your life and suddenly, faith rises up. As there are carriers of peace, there are also stealers of peace; when your path crosses with that of stealers of peace, your peace will just disappear. Check such people and don’t be emotional to vet them out of your life.

Intentionally receive peace into your life (Colossians 3:15-17). It is possible for you to be a good cook, yet your children still go hungry. It is also possible you cook yet your children decide not to eat. It is possible for the Prince of peace to be inside of you, still you don’t have peace. Jesus was in the middle of the boat; He was sleeping because He had peace. But the people in the boat with Him lost their peace because they initially chose to face the storm head-on without His input.

It is one thing for Jesus who has peace to give it to you, it is another thing for you to receive the peace He is giving you. The scripture in Colossians 3:15-17 means you should have peace and let it take effect in your life. A man can have peace and not allow that peace to rule in his heart and life. Why must you be living in scarcity in the midst of surplus? Why must you be a part of KPC Nation, and your life will not reflect the covenant that we have in the house? Something must be wrong with the equation.

Remember in this season of the celebration of the birth of Jesus that He is the Prince of Peace, and His peace is available to keep you from every assault of hell and from the storms of life.

I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.

I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
