Psalms 28:1
To You I will cry, O Lord my Rock:
Do not be silent to me,
Lest, if You are silent to me,
I become like those who go down to the pit.
Beloved,
One major reason why God created man was for fellowship. He chose to communicate with man and empower him in line with his purpose. God’s communication is one of the advantages that redemption restores to human race which every believer should enjoy.
Live your life in such a way that God does not keep quiet on you. The silence of God, many times does not mean endorsement as many people assume. Some of the times, it means that that God has stopped striving with you. When the relationship of God with anyone gets to that point, it means that person has been left alone and such individual should get ready for the consequences.
The effect of that consequence could be seen in the life of Saul, the King. God told Samuel: “How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel?…” (1 Samuel 16:1). When God is still correcting you and bringing warnings to you, when someone is still following up with you to attend the church, when you attend the church and it’s as if the pastor is using you to preach; it’s because God’s voice is still very much active in your life. When God keeps silent, everything could still look the same but the consequences would be replacement and spiritual insanity. When God kept quiet on Saul, he was still the king, enjoying all the honour of royalty. However, it wasn’t long when he lost his peace and started looking for direction from witches.
Beloved, do everything possible to keep the voice of God active in your life. You can never go wrong when His voice is active in your life.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
