Psalms 28:1
To You I will cry, O Lord my Rock:
Do not be silent to me,
Lest, if You are silent to me,
I become like those who go down to the pit.
Beloved,
One major cause of the loss of God’s voice is Constant Deliberate Disobedience (CDD). We can trace the reason why Saul lost God’s voice to this syndrome. It’s amazing to know how many believers are infected with this syndrome.
The kingdom of God is a kingdom of instruction and obedience. If you’re not ready to obey instructions, you’re not qualified to be in this kingdom. God’s concern is not with tripping up sometimes, His concern is with an inability to repent and stop playing with the same sin.
The true measure of the devil’s power in a believer’s life is in how difficult it is for the believer to refuse the temptation of sin. In other words, the more difficult it is to say NO to a sin that you’ve once committed, the more the power that you’ve given the devil to use over you.
Don’t forget the truth we’re trying to build on in this series, the silence of God is a terrible disease that runs a man bankrupt, and one major tool the devil uses is the syndrome called CDD. If you don’t want your life to go down the drain, ensure that you avoid CDD and keep the voice of God intact and loud in your life.
