Matthew 12:43-45
““When an evil spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert, searching for rest. But when it finds none, it says, ‘I will return to the person I came from.’ So it returns and finds that its former home is all swept and in order. Then the spirit finds seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they all enter the person and live there. And so that person is worse off than before.””
Beloved,
It’s not enough to get the devil out of your life. You must ensure your life is filled with the things of God. Remember, we said before that you are not fighting to get the victory. You are fighting to defend it. Satan is a thief. If you give him time and chance he will take everything from you, including victory in the battles of heart. There is a series I did years ago entitled “Guard Your Heart”. That is exactly what you must do. How do you do that? You must meditate on the word of God. Confess and walk in the fullness of the covenant that you have with him. Keep away from music, media and even conversations with people and anything that contradicts what God has said concerning you or that takes up space where God must be.
The devil is a defeated foe and he is not happy about it. Beassured that he is looking for every way to persuade you that he has won the battle over you. Don’t allow it! Keep your heart and mind filled with what the Lord has said so the devil will have no space to reign where God has destined him to fail.
