DO NOT YIELD – Part 5: From Sin’s Grip to God’s Grace

Matthew 10:8 (TPT)‬‬‬

You must continually bring healing to lepers and to those who are sick and make it your habit to break off the demonic presence from people and raise the dead back to life. Freely you have received the power of the kingdom, so freely release it to others.

Beloved,

In the following days, we will be examining the subject of deliverance and how important it is to have this kind of knowledge as a child of God. Some people in the body of Christ are of the opinion that this subject is not necessary for believers. So, the concept of deliverance and the subject of binding the devil does not appeal to them and they do not believe in it. The essence of this teaching is for you to be balanced in your understanding. When this is in place, to a very large extent, it will take care of demonic assault in your life. If you as a believer see no reason to bind the devil, what I see is a believer that the devil has already taken over.

Our text informs that it is possible for a man to carry demonic presence around, either a believer or unbeliever, it does not matter. It is possible for a man to be born again and still be carrying demonic presence around. Occasionally, some demons can come into the life of a believer and if not into his life, they can come around him. Lot was a righteous man yet was still living in Sodom and Gomorrah and could have died amidst demonised people if not for Abraham interceding for him.

A believer that is unaware of this fact will continue to speak in tongues but will be limited by the devils around him. Jesus had the anointing to recognize when Satan took Peter over, yet Peter was one of His closest disciples. So, if Jesus did not know how to recognize the devil in men, the demon would have kept following Him around to the ultimate destruction of His ministry.

Beloved, this teaching is a reminder to stop handling Satan’s attack with ignorance.

I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.

I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
