Psalm 25:16
Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.
Beloved,
Learn to do spiritual scanning occasionally in your home. When a child is becoming moody, uncommunicative, and withdrawing from everyone, learn to find out what is going on. Same thing applies in marriages, no one just wakes up asking for a break. There must have been some pains in the life of such an individual that the spouse had not been paying attention to.
Isolation, which is another factor, works closely with loneliness. What will make you want to be on your own? Are you alone to pray, to think, to meditate, or to deal with somethings that you don’t want to discuss with your spouse just yet? The devil knows that as long as you surround yourself with the right people, he will not get you, so he wants to take you out of that system before he destroys you.
I feel concerned when believers tell me they don’t just feel like coming to church. I get that we all have different ways of dealing with tense moments in our lives, but in withdrawing from men, don’t withdraw from God. Play songs of deliverance around you that will invite the presence of the Holy Spirit into your affairs.
The spirit of depression and suicide works with isolation on most part. In withdrawing to yourself, stop asking open ended questions like, “why me?”. The devil will be waiting to supply you an answer because God does not answer that kind of question. He has put in you the ability to succeed. Ensure you don’t live in isolation.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
