Jeremiah 30:17
But I will restore you to health, and heal your wounds,” declares the Lord, “because you are called you an outcast, Zion, for whom no one cares!’”
Beloved,
Restoration is not a one time deal. I want to take time to summarize this advantage you carry as a son in what I have labeled as the four cardinal points of restoration back to God:
- Forgiveness- His mercy endures forever for you.
- Access back to Him. No matter where you find yourself, there’s always a way back to Him. Just like the prodigal son enjoyed it, you can also enjoy the rejoicing of the Father if you choose to make your way back and get into alignment.
- Restoration of sonship. Adam lost it. Through Christ Jesus, you have it back. To God be the glory!
- Victory and power over sin. You can never be a slave to sin again. You are powered by the righteousness of God, the grace of God, and your personal commitment to discipline.
Beloved, don’t be religious about your salvation. Don’t fall into Satan’s trap of forsaking relationship for the sake of religiosity. After all, religion is just the traditions of man passed down through men. Religion does not equal a relationship with Christ or the inheritance He has made available for you. Please make sure that if you find yourself living an average or disconnected life you check your relationship status. Remember the access it gives you and take full advantage of the inheritance that comes with your sonship so that you enjoy life fully as a son of the kingdom of God.
