DO NOT YIELD – Part 5: From Sin’s Grip to God’s Grace

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Beloved,

Any time you are confused between what God has said and your desires and opinions, it is because there is a friction between your spirit and your soul, and the scriptures says the word of God has the power to divide and separate that. The more you expose yourself to the word of God, the more fine-tuned the voice of the Holy Spirit is to you.

Another way to fine-tune your hearing is in your ability to pray in the spirit. Praying in the spirit helps you to separate and sieve thoughts. It shuts down your flesh and the devil’s distractions and it amplifies the voice and the speakings of the Holy Spirit to you.

The third way is in your desire to make the right decision or to take the right step. This is a very powerful tool in your hands. It is not everyone that wants to be right, and we must know that there is a force in wanting to take the right step. If you desire to get it right, God will do everything possible to communicate the right thing to you. It is not everyone that seeks counsel that truly desires the counsel. Many seeks validation or endorsement of their intentions and are unwilling to be guided in making informed decisions. Beloved, your sincere desire to be right, and your partnership with the Holy Spirit will cause all things to work together for your good

I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.

I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
