DO NOT YIELD – Part 5: From Sin’s Grip to God’s Grace

Isaiah 54:2-3
Enlarge the place of your tent and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; do not spare; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes. For you shall expand to the right and to the left, and your descendants will inherit the nations, and make the desolate cities inhabited.

Beloved,

Learn to draw capacity from your positive experiences. You will always meet cases you’ve never dealt with before. Your capacity should come from the positive things you’ve experienced in the past that is similar to what you are currently facing. Many times, we draw our “I cannot” from negative experiences of the past.

No matter the failure of the past, there will be at least one positive experience in your past that you can leverage on. Usually in perplexing situations, the devil will flood your mind with past defeats and failures, but you need to switch to a higher spiritual intelligence.

Practice the principle of carrying extra. If you train yourself to stop where others stop, you will soon become like every other person. People will label you but don’t mind them, the difference will soon become clear, it is only a matter of time.

Attempt what you have never done before. Use other people’s situations and experiences to build capacity and character. Develop capacity to be responsible. Develop capacity for faith, to believe God regardless of pressing needs and current situations and circumstances.

Finally, let God’s “I can” be your “I can”. Keep meditating on His “I can” until it becomes your “I can”. For instance, your “I can” is limited but God’s “I can” is unlimited, so keep meditating on what God can do until it becomes your experience. From there, turn God’s “I can”, which has become your own “I can” to “I will” and “I must”.

I commend you to God and the word of His grace.

I call you NATIONS. I call you blessed.
