Judges 12:2-3, NKJV
And Jephthah said to them, “My people and I were in a great struggle with the people of Ammon; and when I called you, you did not deliver me out of their hands. So when I saw that you would not deliver me, I took my life in my hands and crossed over against the people of Ammon; and the LORD delivered them into my hand. Why then have you come up to me this day to fight against me?”

We discussed last time that if it seems like no one under heaven is helping you, you must be willing to help yourself. Let us look at some of the tools needed when life refuses to give you a chance.
The first thing you must carry is the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit is your divine helper. To carry Him well, you must choose to be spiritual. Ensure you develop the system of allowing the Holy Spirit to help you to invoke the spirits you need to rise to the level of life that God has designed you for. For example, one of the spirits the Holy Ghost will help you to develop is the spirit of a fighter. If you do not develop the spirit of a fighter on time, you will give up even before the real battle begins. The devil will love for you to feel like a failure but there is no failure in God Almighty. He anoints your hands for battle (Psalm 144:1)! Develop your spirit man and see the marvelous and divine help you will enjoy.
The next tools you will need to ensure you have to help yourself are wisdom and power. One will let you know what to do and one will help you to get it done! You can obtain wisdom and power through consistent, intentional fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Once you are in a right relationship with Him, you only need to ask. You don’t need the wisdom of the world. Such wisdom is limited. You need to desire to display a high level of wisdom- the kind you can only get from the Wisdom of the Ancient of Days. We will cover a few more tools next time.
