Beloved,
There are just two more points in this series that I want to share with you today. First, I must stress the importance of avoiding every snare to begin with. To do this, you start by staying aware. Keep your spiritual eyes open. Check everything against the word of God to avoid falling into the snares that appeal to your flesh. Walking in the Spirit keeps you safe. Abiding in God’s presence keeps you safe.
Another thing you must do consciously is separate yourself from people who can ensnare you. We already discussed the snares of men. You must now choose to sanctify yourself, that is be separate and holy. But per adventure you do find yourself trapped in the snares of men, the Bible says this:
2 Thessalonians 3:2, The Voice
Pray also that we would all be rescued from the snares of harmful, wicked people-after all, not all people are believing.
In fact, not only must you pray to be rescued and kept from such, you must pray ahead. Don’t wait until you are in the snares of men, pray ahead! 2 Timothy 4:18 says,
2 Timothy 4:18 The Voice
And I know the Lord will continue to rescue me from every trip, trap, snare, and pitfall of evil and carry me safely to His heavenly kingdom. May He be glorified throughout eternity. Amen.
The Lord is ready to help us in times of trouble. He is also ready to keep us. Trust Him to help you build a system that keeps you in His will and presence, and safeguards you against demonic attack.
