Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Beloved,
A practice at our church, Kingdom Pathway Church Chicago, is that annually, we set aside the months of September and October to pray ahead for the coming year. In addition, we set aside the month of December to learn principles from scriptures on how we can be empowered to live victoriously in the new year. I will be sharing some of these principles with you in the coming days and my prayer is that you will profit from everything I will be sharing with you.
To begin this journey of obtaining wisdom, we will start by examining some laws that must govern your life in the coming year if you want to have a fulfilling and productive year. The first of these laws is the law of start. Many of what I will be sharing with you are not things you haven’t heard before. But it is not about how much you know, what matters is how much of the knowledge you apply and practice habitually; that is what makes a difference.
Most people struggle with starting things in life, and many don’t know how to start, let alone finish important things. For anyone that knows where he is going in life, anywhere is a good place to start. To be able to start anything in life, there are certain laws you must be mindful of, and things you must put in place.
The first thing to bear in mind is the law of first. Scripture says in the book of Genesis 1:1, “in the beginning, God…”. What makes us to be children of God is that we put Him first in everything we do in life. The first thing you do at the beginning of each day and at the start of every season will always determine the course of things for the rest of that day or in that season. Talk to God first at the start of your day regardless of how urgent things seem. You can do this by thanking him first. Let God and His leading proceed any decision you wish to take, and you will marvel at the giant strides you will take in 2023.
I commit you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you NATIONS. I call you blessed.
P.S. – I want to formally invite you to our annual Night of Colors on 22th December, 2022. Our theme this year is CHRIST REVEALED! You don’t want to miss it! Get your mind ready! More details to come
