Joshua 3:5
And Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.”
Beloved,
God knows the past, the present and the future and He owes you the communication of your prophetic seasons in life. The devil on the other hand knows your past but normally does not know your future except you give him permission to look into it. If the devil has a glimpse of the future before you do, he does all he can to prevent your glorious future from coming to fruition. He seeks to put a barrage of distractions in your life to keep you away from the future that God has declared. If your future will happen, you have to secure it. Guard your future like the treasure that it is.
To secure your future, you must first be aware of it. Know your promises and your prophecies. Find out that what the Lord has written concerning you. You can neither defend nor achieve a future you know nothing about.
Do not view the future is through the lens of the past. Do not let the failures of the past stop you from working and walking in the direction of the future. Find out from scripture and from prophecy, what your future looks like. Let it form your vision and keep it continually before you. Let it inform your decisions and choices. When your future comes, it shouldn’t surprise you because it is something you’ve been working towards.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
