Seed
Genesis 8:22
While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease.
Beloved,
God is committed to doing two things for you, He will give you a seed to sow, and He will give you bread to eat. A seed is a kingdom system authorized by God to bring life and restoration. This is why it is wrong to waste or eat your seed. Every act of seed wastage attracts God’s wrath. Recognize your seeds so you don’t waste or eat them.
If you’re asking God for a tree, what He gives you is a seed. God will also tell you the ground upon which to sow that seed. If there is no seed on ground, there won’t be a harvest of victory. Seed represents whatever comes out from you. If you want to experience a harvest in a certain area, sow a seed in that area. The seed you need to sow may be your money, or you may need to sow the seed of your time by investing in the learning of a particular skill set.
Raise your children as seeds. The story of Jacob is centered around Joseph. If there was no Joseph, Jacob wouldn’t have had a good story to tell. You cannot possess the gate of the enemy by yourself directly, your seed will do that for you. A warrior dispatches his arrows to attack his enemy; he doesn’t need to go by himself.
Maximize every opportunity you have to sow your seed and let your seed be sacrificial. Ask the Lord to show you things that will touch His heart. Like Phinehas, sow the seed of zeal for the Lord, Numbers 25:6-13. Like the Shunammite woman, sow the seed of ministering to God’s servant, 2 Kings 4:8-10. Sow your seed by devoting your time to prayer and fasting like Anna, Luke 2:37.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
