Journey to Wealth V
But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God; for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
Deuteronomy 8:18, KJV
Beloved,
Where am I on the ladder of wealth? This is a question you must ask yourself. Is what I’m doing now going to make me wealthy? The way I’m going on, will I be wealthy? It is important to ask these questions.
Last time, we began discussing the steps we must take to ensure we are journeying towards wealth and in the will of God, in whose image were made. The closer we are to wealth and good stewardship, the closer we are to looking more like Him and being fully equipped to establish His Kingdom on the earth.
We discussed having the right mindset- a wealth mindset. Then we began to discuss the importance of asking the right questions. The truth is that many people remain ignorant today because pride and other dark forces keep them from asking the right questions from the right sources. He warns us in His word :
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
Hosea 4:6, NKJV
May you not find yourself ignorant, out of God’s will, and rejected in Jesus’ mighty name. Let’s look at more questions we must be ready to ask.
– Are there any spiritual forces working against me?
– Is there anyway I’m working against myself?
– What can I do differently to be wealthy?
If we can proffer answers to these questions and such, we will know the right steps to take. But, beloved. It is not only important to ask the right questions. You must use your God-given wisdom and discernment to seek counsel from the right sources. One thing I have observed and which breaks my heart is that there are believers who would rather seek counsel from unbelievers than trust pastors and people rooted in Christ. While I understand that we have many people who call themselves pastors or teachers of God’s word who are failing generations, it is not every pastor that is failing. Also, it is up to every child of God to find his God- ordained pastor.
On another note, Christians are called to minister beyond the walls of the church. We must take our rightful place in the various marketplace platforms God has called us to. This way, people seeking right counsel are getting it from spiritually and professionally competent sources. God will continue to give us wisdom and make us sensitive in this area in the mighty name of Jesus.
More importantly, as a child of God, the first authority you must seek right counsel from is the Holy Spirit. He will reveal answers to you and guide you to the right help or guide the right help to you. You never have to find yourself alone or without answers if you are a child of God.
If you have not given your life to Christ, I implore you to do so. Sincerely this is the first step to eternal wealth. How, you ask?
But what does it say? ‘The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart’ (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:8-10, NKJV
Now is the time!
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
