John 3:16 NKJV
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Beloved,
The story of our salvation is a story of love. Love made the Father give up His only Son and love made the Son come for us. In fact, there is no greater expression of love than all that went into our salvation.
There is no doubting the love of the Father for us because He demonstrated through the ultimate sacrifice of Christ. The Bible says,
Romans 5:7-8 NKJV
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Beloved, my challenge for you today is that you should not let this love story be one sided. Respond with love. Respond to God in love in through worship. Demonstrate your love for Him by your service in His house. Respond by profiting with all He has committed to you. And share this story of ultimate love with those who are perishing; let love rescue them.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
