DO NOT YIELD – Part 5: From Sin’s Grip to God’s Grace

Esther 4:13-14 NKJV
…”Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Beloved,

To round of this segment, let us discuss the importance of right posture as it pertains to maximizing divine encounter. Last time, we discussed the force of obedience and how it allowed Esther the opportunity to not only become queen, but to be used by God to save Israel. Consider this- when Esther became the queen, technically had had more authority than her uncle. But in her queenship role and despite all the authority it accorded her, she still honored her spiritual father, Mordecai. You knew she honored him because she was not dismissive of his instructions. You also knew she honored him in how she still embodied his values and revered the God of her spiritual father’s salvation. She honored him as more than just her family member. She remained under his discipline and she honored him as God’s trusted vessel to executed God’s divine agenda in her generation. Another aspect we don’t talk about much is how she honored his instruction to keep her full identity a secret. All God used her to do was “possible” because she kept that secret as instructed by her father in destiny.
We truly can learn something from this young orphan turned disciple turned queen turned king’s man redeemer, God’s anointed vessel and generational pacesetter. May we not miss the importance of right posture, the place of honor and the power of obedience so that at the appointed time we will e able to maximize divine encounter to God’s glory.

I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.

I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
