While the walk of faith is generally individual, there are infallible and unchanging principles that characterize kingdom citizens, 2 Timothy 2:19. Church membership is God’s requirement for every believer. It is His strategy to ensure the continuous supply of allocated portions for us, His saints; ensure our proper growth, naturally and spiritually; and prepare us for His coming.
Salvation gives us access to a new life in Christ, 2 Corinthians 5:17. How fast and effective and evident this transition from the old to the new will be is determined by the ability of a believer to discern the church God has called him to join. This is why God himself is committed to this process.
Church attendance and membership is not designed to be selected and carried out by our personal preference and convenience. It’s divinely designed and required. Thus, churchlessness is a direct disobedience to God’s instruction. Because of the specificity of your destiny, God has prepared certain places for you to be fixed to prevent you from becoming nutrient-deficient spiritually. Just as no randomly located food type can feed all animals, the key to your growth and advancement in destiny can only be located in the place God ordained for you, Ezekiel 34:23.
As my father in destiny has rightly stated, “God places the solitary in families”. If you have not already, may the Lord help you to identify the pastor and church He has especially for you, in Jesus’ mighty name.
