I long, yes, I faint with longing to enter the courts of the Lord. With my whole being, body and soul, I will shout joyfully to the living God.

We are living in a time where many have decided church is not relevant. There is no way you will call yourself a Christian, a genuine believer in Christ Jesus, and be effectively so without being joined to the body of Christ. People say, “I don’t need to go to church; I am the church”. That is wrong. The devil has perverted their understanding of the church.
The church is a body of believers who accept God as the only God, Jesus as the only Way, and the Bible as the final authority and they live by its ordinances, follow the Way, and honor God alone (Acts 2). The church is a spiritual house. The formation of each local church must be exactly the same in nature and functionality as that of the universal body of Christ, though there might be differences in assignment. As a believer, you must be a reflection and representative and active, committed member of your local, God-ordained church.
It is to your advantage as a genuine believer to be joined and in fellowship with the body of Christ by way of your local, God-ordained church. You will not miss your advantage, in Jesus’ name.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
