Beloved,
We have talked about unusual events that signal that the enemy may be up to something. Now, we let’s consider some unusual mechanisms that convey communications from God and launch a man into the future God has for him.
- Unusual sights. Such were what Moses saw in Exodus 3:3 what Saul saw in Acts 22:9. They trigger the supernatural in your life. They can come in the form of strange sights, dreams, communications of the spirit to your regenerated mind, and so on. They are God’s way of getting your attention as you must pay attention to receive everything God wants to communicate to you.
- Unusual beauty. This refers to unusual endowments, evident even to the most critical of individuals. You must pay attention to special skills, talents, and the like, which you have in greater measure than usual. As God does not waste, watch out for how God wants to use these endowments.
- Unusual demand and request. When God places a demand on you, it is an avenue to trigger the supernatural in your life. When the widow of Zarephath honored Elijah’s unusual and inconvenient request, she opened the door to supernatural supply, 1 Kings 17:8–16. The demands of the kingdom usually do not make sense to the carnal mind, so don’t try to interpret an instruction you know to be from God; just obey.
