Zechariah 8:12 NKJV
For the seed shall be prosperous, the vine shall give its fruit, the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew— I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these.
Beloved,
We are still on the topic of seed membership. Remember, a seed member is an active participant in their God-ordained local church. A seed member is a person who accepts the pastor as their personal pastor and the church as their church family.
Another thing about seed members is that many have pasts that make them a credible witness of God to others. Beloved, never fall into the error of thinking that your past discredits you from church membership, stewardship, or fellowship. The beauty of serving God is that nothing about your life is wasted, not even your past! He will show you how to use every part of your life, including your past to glorify Him. And He will use your pastor and correct church membership to help you do it.
For some people, God supernaturally communicated to them that they must be joined to a particular church just like Phillip was instructed to join the chariot of the Ethiopian eunuch. For some, the set man, himself, receives communication and confirmation from God identifying those who must be his members. We have the example of Elijah and the divine communication he received concerning Elisha, who eventually became his son in the faith.
No matter how God chooses or has chosen to communicate His will for your life, ensure you are rightly positioned to receive it and be and remain expectant. Know that your portion is there and waiting for you in the place God has designated especially for you.
