Ephesians 2:8-10 NKJV
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Beloved,
Nothing compares to the grace of God especially as it pertains to your progress in life. One thing about people today, that has not changed since yesterday, is that we think we can do everything on our own and by our own strength. The Bible cautions us:
Proverbs 3:7 NKJV
Do not be wise in your own eyes; …
Beloved, if you will do well at all in this life, you will need the grace of God. To start, you need His grace for salvation. The Bible says:
Titus 2:11-12 KJV
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
You cannot be righteous on your own. In fact, anything we do outside God is limited. If you are struggling with the inability to permanently lay your hurting past down, you need the grace of God. If you will lay to rest every fleshly craving that is affecting your progress in life, you will need the grace of God.
Other things that silently leave us stagnant in life include the following:
- Lack of right associations or companionship
- Lack of partnership with God’s anointed to speak grace and life over you.
- Lack of self discipline
If any of these apply to you, then obtain grace under God to make necessary adjustments where needed.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
