Genesis 45:9-11 NKJV
“Hurry and go up to my father, and say to him, ‘Thus says your son Joseph: “God has made me lord of all Egypt; come down to me, do not tarry. You shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you shall be near to me, you and your children, your children’s children, your flocks and your herds, and all that you have. There I will provide for you, lest you and your household, and all that you have, come to poverty; for there are still five years of famine.” ’
Beloved,
On most part, God will put your provisions in certain men and certain places. It is your responsibility to make the discovery and align yourself accordingly. Most of the time those people and places may not seem like you expect in the beginning, but as you obey, they start releasing unto you the treasures they carry for you.
The Lord sent Elijah to a specific widow because that was whom God was going to use to provide for him in famine. The text above also explained that the family of Jacob must be situated in a particular place for them to be provided for. Being out of place is like a fish out of of water; not only will that fish struggle, it will eventually die if it doesn’t get relocated in the environment that supports its life and growth.
There is a protocol you must adhere to when you find yourself at the right place and before the person in whom is your provision, that protocol is the law of honor. John the Baptist was very reluctant to baptize Jesus because he thought he was unworthy to do so, but according to Jesus, He had to be baptized by John or else His ministry would never materialize. Again, those people and places may not look like anything, but they carry the grace and the anointing to bless you. Honor them.
Beloved, what will be your decision as God is again coming for you to return back to the place of your devotion to Him? Will you remain with a person pastor or in a place church because of convenience and familiarity? Or will you seek to know who and where God has put your own portion? Happy is the man who finds his place and his portion in Zion.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
