Matthew 6:25 NKJV
“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
Beloved,
Worry: mulling over a situation with the aim of finding a solution for it but falling short of doing so. In the long run, worrying is an exercise in futility. A lie of the devil is making people think they are being responsible when they worry. Worry is underestimating God and His ability, while magnifying the devil and his ability to wreak havoc. It troubles the mind, causes unrest, and tears a man apart, Job 30:27 (GNT).
Worry is a report card that shows you the level and intensity of your faith. It shows you that you have little faith rather than great faith. Therefore, it must be given no room.
How do you deal with worry? Change your sight. Since worry shows the littleness of your faith, then you must change your sight. Change your focus by changing your sight. Turn away from the object of worry and turn to the One who has the capacity to provide for and meet all your needs.
Rather than worry, practice productive meditation. Consider all the facts together with another knowledge: your knowledge of God and His word. This is guaranteed to yield positive results. Know that you are worth much more than the subject of your worry. And know that your heavenly Father cares for you more than you can imagine.
Beloved, the solution to worry is to master how the kingdom works. Acquire superior knowledge that will give you your desired outcomes in life and you will never have to worry again.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
