Isaiah 43:19 NKJV
Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.
Beloved,
One of the best things you can do for yourself is to find out what God is presently doing on the earth and becoming a part of it. There are two possibilities for the reaction of people in hindsight – “thank God I was a part of the move of God” or “if I’d known, I would have become a part of the move of God.” If Jonathan from the Old Testament and Judas from the New Testament had the opportunity to remake their choices, they would have chosen better for themselves.
To become part of a big picture:
- You must take it as a calling, Genesis 12:1-4, Mark 1:16-18. You must also remember that God calls us to become what is our reality in the spirit realm. Don’t downplay your role in the move of God.
- You must bear the reward in mind, Hebrews 12:1-2, Mark 10:28-30. You may not give your best in an endeavor if you don’t know the rewards attached to it.
- You must be a man of the future, Genesis 14:21-23. Today was once the future of yesterday. You can’t be tied to your today and expect to be part of what God is presently doing. David didn’t look like the king in the wilderness, but his wilderness experience was crucial to his journey to the throne. Time reveals who is wise and foolish based on choices and decisions that people took in the past.
A man of the future has a vision of the future and wisdom for it. They always have the end in mind. Pharaoh was supernaturally given the vision for the future, but Joseph supernaturally supplied the wisdom for the future. God is faithful to communicate the vision of the future to you, but you must trust God for wisdom, that is, trust Him for practical steps to take to make that vision a reality.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
