John 1:1 NKJV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Beloved,
The scripture above reveals that Jesus, Himself, is the Word of God. He is how the worlds were made. He is His glory, and His power. In other words, He, Himself is the Word and the Word is the force that gets things done on the earth and everywhere. I like how John puts it:
John 1:1-3 NKJV
[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] He was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
If we will live and accomplish everything God has created us for on the earth, we will need His word because His word is power. If we will see well, we will need light? The same chapter describes God’s word as light, which is the power to illuminate and help us to see. The word is the light that lights up everyone (John 1:1-3,9). Men can only live by every word from God’s mouth. (Matthew 4:4).
Usually there are three sides to every matter. The human side is usually louder than others, which is further amplified by the devil’s side. God’s side is usually silent until you seek His input which must be done consciously and deliberately. You must get to the point where you dare not take a step without hearing from God. The light of God (revelation and illumination) is usually gotten through worship and the word. Whenever you are facing a problem, learn to create an atmosphere of worship for the Holy Spirit to begin to move.
Beloved, allow God’s word to build you up and you will remain unshakable as you journey through life.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
