Jeremiah 29:11 KJV
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Beloved,
The greater your destiny, the narrower is your margin of error. It is true that God is a God of many chances but people don’t always get to have another chance, especially when they keep taking God’s grace and mercy for granted.
Not everyone live each day with the future in view. But the wise live each day with the future in view. People who know the truth expressed in our opening scripture, Jeremiah 29:11, will not give up on the future, even though their present circumstances may not be good.
How do you know the men of the future?
- They combine faith and sight of the future to run their lives at the moment, Hebrews 11:25-27.
- They are loyal people, and their loyalty is powered by convincing information and knowledge they have access to, Ruth 1:16.
- They are prophetic, and they allow the prophecy they have received to guide their expectations, e.g., Simeon in Luke 2:25-31.
- The men of the future are inspired to do today what will preserve their tomorrow, e.g. Mordecai and Esther, Esther 6:1-5.
- They have eyes to see the potentials of the younger generation of today and empowered by that knowledge, they are encouraged to invest in their growth and development as Mordecai did for Esther.
- The man of the future is a fertile land and a fertile destiny, worthy of great investment.
- Men of the future keep themselves from defilement like Daniel and Joseph did.
Having seen the attributes of men of the future, we will continue next time by learning how to become one.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
