Jeremiah 29:11 KJV
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Beloved,
If you will have the future you desire, you must cultivate and program it deliberately. Plan for the future and into the future from where you are today. Do the things you have control over. Believe in your future and give more attention to it than the past.
Anywhere God places you, be a part of the building, and not a part of the scaffold. It is being a part of something bigger than you that gives one a sense of significance and an identity. If you will have a future, be part of what has a future. There is no greatness in isolation; be part of something great, in order to be great and to remain great. Focus more on how to be a blessing than how to be blessed. This is the cheapest means of ascending into the world of greatness and influence.
You must also develop eyes that see and ears that hear. The poorest man is not one without money, it is one that can neither see nor hear. Bartimaeus didn’t ask Jesus for money, he simply requested for his sight to be restored, knowing that if he is able to see correctly, he would be able to make his life count. Beloved, to become a man of the future, contend for eyes that sees and ears that hear, and do not take God’s grace for granted.
We will look at more things to do to make the future happen next time.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
