John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Beloved,
We are all equal in creation, but salvation has separated us from other people. If you have given your life to Jesus, Him in your life has made you completely different from every other person because what He gave you is the God-kind of life, immortal life. It is the life that we have in Christ Jesus that gives us the opportunity to be able to communicate with God. No matter how good a person is, if he doesn’t have Jesus in his life, he does not know God.
Jesus can turn the life of a man around; He has done it before, and He will do it again. A dear member of our church knew only sorrow, abuse, pain and neglect growing up. Life was so overwhelming for her that she decided to commit suicide at age 14. She drank a big cup of bleach but because Jesus who loved her before the foundation of the world, the bleach she drank didn’t have any effect on her. Because of that encounter, she gave her life to Christ and things began to take a new turn. Now she has a family of her own and is doing great things for God in the kingdom.
Jesus is not one of the ways, He is the way. The greatest gift you can give yourself is Jesus. Not only that, but the greatest gift that God who created you can give you is Jesus. As Jesus is the greatest gift, the means of possession of that gift is also the cheapest, it is free! Just ask Him to come into your life and accept Him as your personal Savior and Lord. That is it, simple!
