1 Thessalonians 5: 9-10
For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.
Beloved,
After the Jesus resurrected, He established eternal life for us. For us children of God, eternal life is the force that destroys the power of death. It means that death threatens you no more and everywhere death is at work, eternal life can take over and you can live as God desires for you to live.
Jesus took care of all the loopholes so that the devil wouldn’t have a chance to tamper with our inheritance and with the process of obtaining it. He established that new covenant for us so that we will no longer be living under the law, but we will live under grace. No other religious leader can boast of doing this same thing for his followers that Jesus has done for us.
2 Timothy 1:10 tells us that Jesus has abolished death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel; it is left for you to accept this offer.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
