Proverbs 21:5 NKJV
The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, But those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty.
Beloved,
We have been talking about the power of the mind. The mind is where the revelation brought to you by the Spirit is processed. Therefore, your mind must be healthy. If a mind is not healthy or unproductive, it will start producing the following effects:
- Laziness. This manifests as regular procrastination with the consequence that opportunities are missed and resources wasted. Never be known as a lazy person.
- An unproductive mind will have many nebulous ideas but will not be able to process any actionable steps.
- An unproductive mind dwells on a false sense of achievement.
- It will have wrong or low interpretation of revelation and manifest accordingly.
It is your responsibility to keep your heart productive by all means. The Bible says,
Proverbs 4:23 NKJV
Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.
So, how can you guard your heart?
- Repent from every pollution of the heart. Repent of every time you have fed your mind with corrupting information.
- Take authority over the influence of wrong spirits. Launch a spiritual warfare to bring every of your thought in obedience to Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:4-5
- Sow to your spirit and starve your flesh, Galatians 6:7-8.
- Identify and abstain from practices, beings, information, and environment that makes you vulnerable, 1 Thessalonians 5:22, Colossians 3:1-10.
- Practice regular fasting and prayer. Pray in the spirit.
- Remain a babe or innocent about certain things. Don’t let the devil prey on your inquisitive nature. Be careful of information you out into your heart. Don’t seek out information you have no business knowing.
- Watch over the channels of into your heart: sight, hearing, touch, words.
Finally beloved, fill your heart with right things. Fill your heart with God’s word and deliberately think on them. Surround yourself with the right people. Create a spiritual atmosphere around yourself. Do not be idle. Set a goal and build an accountability system to ensure you meet it.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
