Let your garments always be white, And let your head lack no oil.
Beloved,
Today, I want to talk to you on how you can preserve your grace and anointing. Anything the Lord has given to you must be preserved. Whatever is working for you must be preserved. People who do not preserve their oil burn for a while then fizzle out. If you will not lose relevance, you must preserve your oil.
To preserve your oil, do not get involved with what you are not anointed for. Know what the Lord will have you do, and do that. Do not go outside the boundaries of grace. In Luke 12:13-14, Jesus refused to get involved in what was not business. Be like Jesus.
Similarly, do not want what is not given to you. Be content with what has been given to you of the Lord. This does not mean that you should be complacent. The Bible encourages us to earnestly desire the best, 1 Corinthians 12:31. This point is warning against envy. Don’t neglect the gift you have now because you are hankering for another.
We will consider more ways to preserve your oil next time.
