II Peter 3:18 NKJV
but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
Beloved,
I explained last time that grace is a lubricant. It is what makes life easy for a believer to live. When you have struggle and stress, it is signifying that either you are out of grace or underutilizing grace. Also, God is the God of all grace. This gives the assurance that He will surely supply whatever grace is lacking in your life.
There are three categories of grace:
- Saving grace, Ephesians 2:8. The outpouring of saving grace makes a person to see only Jesus as the Savior of a their life.
- Sustaining grace. This is the grace that makes one not to give up.
- Enabling grace. This grace empowers a person to attempt and achieve what is deemed impossible.
Limitations should be faced not avoided because it only shows you the grace that is lacking and what you need to ask from the God of all grace.
God’s saving grace is immeasurable – it is unmerited favor, it justifies, and it offers unlimited righteousness, Acts 20:32. God’s saving grace saves from sin and limitations.
The devil is the accuser of the brethren, but God’s grace keeps bringing justification to His children. The Holy Spirit convicts you of sin but He does not condemn you. So don’t let condemnation swallow you up.
God’s sustaining grace is enduring and works patience. His enabling grace is needed for the work of ministry, to give to God’s work, and to defend against the attacks of the enemy.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
