Acts 15:18 NKJV
“Known to God from eternity are all His works.
Beloved,
It’s easier to trust God when we understand just how much He knows about us. Let’s continue to review some of the things God knows about man.
- God knows what is going on, what He is doing, and what He is going to do. Look at this scripture:
1 Samuel 2:2-5 MSG
[2-5] Nothing and no one is holy like God, no rock mountain like our God. Don’t dare talk pretentiously— not a word of boasting, ever! For God knows what’s going on. He takes the measure of everything that happens. The weapons of the strong are smashed to pieces, while the weak are infused with fresh strength. The well-fed are out begging in the streets for crusts, while the hungry are getting second helpings. The barren woman has a houseful of children, while the mother of many is bereft.
Some seasons of life are as if they will last forever. During such times it feels as if there is no way out. The truth is that no case is hopeless as long as God is interested in it. Once God is involved, there will always be a way. When God is with you, He will see you through — guaranteed!
- God knows His children. The Lord knows those who are His. His children are those of us who love and serve Him. Our love is demonstrated through our obedience to His word and to the Holy Spirit He has blessed us with.
II Timothy 2:19 NKJV
Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”
God’s children are easily identified by their genuine love for God, His house, His kingdom, and His children. God’s children hate sin, and they contend always for growth and maturity.
- God knows we need Him. Beloved, without God, you can do NOTHING — nothing tangible or lasting anyway.
John 15:5 NKJV
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
Don’t allow yourself to reach a dead end before realizing this truth. If you are going anywhere worthwhile in life, you will need God.
- God knows that the day man eats of the tree of good and evil, he shall die.
Genesis 3:4-5 NKJV
[4] Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. [5] For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
Genesis 2:16-17 NKJV
[16] And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; [17] but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
Don’t let the devil interpret God’s instructions to you. Don’t even entertain that conversation with the devil. God knows all things. The devil only knows a side of the truth. The side of truth the devil knows, he uses to defend error. Only God knows the grievous consequence behind such disobedience.
May you know what you should know of what God knows about you and govern your life accordingly.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
