And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
Beloved,
Whatever attracts your consciousness rules your life. You must be intentional about what you allow to enter your stream of consciousness. One way to intentionally build your consciousness is to do something continuously. There are two types of consciousness you must be especially conscious of:
The first is sin consciousness.
Hebrews 10:1-2 NKJV
[1] For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect. [2] For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins.
Sin consciousness is built when a person sins continuously, repenting over the same particular sin, over and over again. It is also built when someone is living in guilt. When you are sin conscious, the devil strips you of your relationship with God.
Beloved, by all means, eliminate sin consciousness from your mindset. The second consciousness you must carry is most critical. In fact, it is essential for the elimination of sin we just spoke about and that is Christ consciousness. This is the awareness that Jesus Christ, Himself is alive in you. He is your Hope of Glory. It is imperative you remain forever aware of this truth and at all times. We will discuss this more in depth in our next edition.
