Colossians 3:17 NKJV
And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
Beloved,
As we started discussing in our last edition on consciousness, Christ consciousness is imperative for Kingdom living on this side of eternity. Christ is in you, and He is the hope of glory to you. You must remain aware of this at all times. What does this means to us practically?
First of all, you must obtain the mind of Christ. Elevate your thinking to that of Christ, which begins with your mediation on His Word and time in His Presence. Operationalizing His Lordship in your life enables you with grace to stand still until you hear from Him and shut down any other voice that wishes to exalt itself in your life over that of the voice of Christ Jesus. This will help you to establish a Kingdom aligned thought flow.
Philippians 2:5-7 says this:
“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.”
This mind of Christ we are talking about is a mind that sponsors humility versus the pride and high-mindedness, and self-centeredness found in the world today. The more Christ consciousness you are, the more exploits you are empowered to do. The mind of Christ in us helps us know and obey divine instructions.
I Corinthians 2:16
“For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.”
We show our love and commitment to God when we obey Him.
The mind of Christ in us helps us discern the things of the Spirit of God.
I Corinthians 2:14 “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
What you are conscious of is your revelation. Replace every faulty mindset of sin-consciousness with mindfulness of Christ and what He can do for you when you permit Him into your mind and heart.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
