DO NOT YIELD – Part 5: From Sin’s Grip to God’s Grace

Hebrews 11:6

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

Beloved,

Not only does God intervene and disrupt people and nations, He also rules in the affairs of men on individual, personal levels. God is righteous and just in His dealings with men. More importantly, the dealings of God can be seen in the uniqueness of every individual destiny. Therefore, it is unfair to compare or envy others on life’s journey.

The frustrations of many are traceable to their lack of understanding of God’s dealings in their lives. When things are not working as expected, wisdom says to find out what God wants to bring out of this experience. When you have the answer to this, you will be patient under the process.

God’s dealing for each person can be corporate or/and personal. If you miss out on either, you may end up paying for it. At the same time, God’s dealings with individuals is purposeful and it is based on:

  • Destiny and future. Your destiny although is unique to you, its foundation is in the program of God in relation to his kingdom. So you have to go back to God to unveil his plans for your life to you.
  • Assignments. The roles of responsibilities given to you in your local church will eventually align you to your destiny.
  • Willingness. No matter the pursuit under God, you must be willing and obedient if you want to work with God.

God’s dealing with a person can also be progressive if that person is yielded to the Holy Spirit. Sadly it can also regress especially when that person sees no need to grow and mature. It is unfortunate that God’s dealings can also be terminated, if the believer allows the devil to abort divine process.

I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.

I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
