If you will live a life of priestly kingship, do all you can to get rid of factors that causes chaos and hinders order. In today’s write up, we will look at some of the things that keep many believers from commanding order and living a structured life.
- Fear of confrontation: Some people deal with problems and challenges by turning a blind eye, hoping and wishing the problem will just go away on its own. The truth is that it is the spirit of fear that is manifesting in that person. Fear is a dangerous spirit because it can manifest in so many ways and it is the antithesis to faith. Faith is how we get things done in God’s kingdom. It allows us to partner with Him and allows our steps to be ordered. Meanwhile, fear isolates and renders us fruitless.
Timothy 1:7
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
God has given us His spirit of power, love and a sound mind to accomplish even the toughest of situations. The spirit of fear, at best leads to avoidance and cowardice. It is up to us to denounce it and operate in accordance with God’s spirit vs. our flesh. If we choose to deal with such issues naturally, we leave room for the spirit of fear to wreak havoc in our lives. For not only will the problem continue to exist, but fear of confrontation also lets you rob yourself of reaching inward to access your God-given strength and tenacity. By missing out on this privilege, you are also missing out on divine solutions that God, by His Spirit is ready to bring into your life.
