1 Timothy 3:8-9
8 Likewise deacons must be reverent, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy for money, 9 holding the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience
We learned that because faith is spiritual it is also slippery in nature, hence there is a need for us to hold firmly unto it. To build capacity, we must understand how faith operates. Let us use the Covid-19 pandemic as an example. At a point, it was announced that 1 out of every 15 people has contracted the virus. Hearing this type of news, can cause one to automatically respond with fear. One may start contemplating, whether one will be the next to be diagnosed with the virus or not. However, if you are a part of a Church family like Kingdom Pathway Church, where the Lord had gone ahead of the devil through prophetic utterance that says that even if it is only one percent, we as a people are divinely exempted, you will not be afraid. Although the Lord had sent His word ahead, it is still up to everyone to convert the prophetic utterance to work for him or her as a shield.
The result of prophecies varies because our capacities to capture and hold forth are on different levels. Some people take prophecies seriously and run with them by confessing them regularly. Some take a step further by converting them to covenants. On the other hand, others may be lackadaisical and consider prophecies as empty proclamations. We can see how a word may be given and people may respond to it in diverse ways. As Jesus said, let it be to you according to your faith – Matthew 9:29. Beloved, if your result will be according to your faith, how much is your grip on what you have heard and received?
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
