May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
Beloved,
You have heard the saying, or maybe you have said it yourself that, “The devil cannot steal your joy.” It’s true! Don’t get me wrong, stealing is the devil’s ministry. He is very good at it. Joy is a byproduct of God at work in your life, so he can’t steal it. What he can and will try to steal if you leave them vulnerable are your time, attention, resources and perspective. He will do all he can to take any and everything that keeps you out of God’s presence. He wants you to be just as limited as he became once he disqualified himself from God’s presence.
Beloved, we must be and remain attentive and intentional about stewarding the privilege we carry to enjoy the presence of our Maker.
Make the decision that no matter how much the cares of this world, you will be mindful about minding the things of God including your time in His presence.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
