May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
Beloved,
No matter the cares of this life, make a decision to worship the Lord Most High over your worries and fears. Remember, God did not give you the spirit of fear. The devil knows God does not work with fear. God works with your faith and your obedience.
“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” – Psalm 16:11 NKJV
Take note of this truth that is revealed to us in the scripture above: There is nothing like having just a bit of joy. In His presence, there is FULLNESS of joy. Ignorance of this is how the devil will deceive some people. Or he can use condemnation to make people think they don’t even deserve happiness, talk less of joy. Beloved, even if you have done wrong, remember, God disciplines those He loves. You only need to receive it.
“Let me hear joy and gladness;
let the bones you have crushed rejoice.” – Psalm 51:8
Our next write up will highlight the force of peace. To enjoy it maximally, and to highlight the interconnectedness between peace, love and joy, let me share a little more on joy. Desire fullness of joy. Once you truly desire it, you will do the needful to abide in His presence. When you make it your habit to think of the goodness of Jesus… when you are intentional about hearing the gospel, and His promises and prophecies that concern you, and the testimonies of those who have overcome by His blood, you will not need encouragement to rejoice, even in the midst of trying times. instead, you will be like David who said:
“This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” – Psalm 118:4
Joy is a beautiful gift. Enjoy it today.
