Colossians 2:13 NLT
“You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins.”
Beloved, So far, we have established, that immediately you surrender your life to Christ, He renders you a better one. From thereon, there is a new life to live and there is a clear path marked out by God that a believer must begin to walk on. The work of the Holy Spirit is to walk alongside us and to help us begin to live this new life in Christ, yes. But His work is much more.
John 3:33-34
“Those who believe Him discover that God is a fountain of truth. For this one—sent by God—speaks God’s words, for God’s Spirit is upon him without measure or limit.”
God is infinite and immeasurable. King David tells us so in Psalm 147:5 and it tells us so all throughout scripture and in nature and so on. His essence is GREAT, yet He gives us- we who are mere mortals- His very Essence and Being, WITHOUT MEASURE! See scripture:
