Genesis 18:17 NKJV
“And the LORD said, ‘Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do, seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed through him?”
Beloved,
So far, we have established greatness as the law and the way of the kingdom of God. Greatness has little to do with size or mass and everything to do with impact. We also learned that greatness cannot be ignored. It is who He is, how He operates and what He has placed inside every one of us who chooses to surrender our life to Him through Christ Jesus, His Son.
When we, His children, do not take our time to acknowledge and respond to God, His greatness and the greatness He has placed within us, we invariably choose to miss critical information and to dismiss the God-ordained greatness placed inside of us.
As we said the last time, one reason God graces us with the gift of greatness is so that we can receive and enjoy effective communication with Him. Another reason the law of greatness must manifest in the lives of every believer is so that we can fulfill our God-ordained destiny on the earth.
As much as each of our destinies are different, they have the following
in common:
- They reflect and draw men to God’s greatness and glory.
- They are can only be expressed in the life of every man through faith and action and in partnership with the Holy Ghost
Let’s look at the first point now. The sincere truth is that greatness can only give birth to greatness. There is no how we can call Jesus our Savior and Lord, call God our Father and enjoy the indwelling of His sweet Holy Ghost, yet no area of our life reflects His greatness. If we belong to Him, no area of our lives should be able to deny His greatness. That is in seed form is fine. As with every rightly nourished seed, it must flourish. It will flourish and reflect His greatness and glory. It’s only a matter of time. The Bible says this:
“And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” – John 12:32
As you exalt the great name of the Lord –no matter your circumstance– you decide He is greater than whatever tribulation you are facing, you get the privilege of enjoying Him as such, and the world gets to see His greatness and this, in turn, increases their desire to know Him and draw closer to Him.
Beloved, allow the law of greatness to become your standard. See the great and glorious kingdom of God at work in your life and do not stop there. Confirm that you are operating in accordance with the law of the Kingdom. Let your intimacy with the Holy Spirit reflect your commitment to greatness as you work with Him to produce greater and enlarge His glorious kingdom on the earth.
