DO NOT YIELD – Part 5: From Sin’s Grip to God’s Grace

Genesis 18:17 NKJV

“And the LORD said, ‘Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do, seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed through him?”

Beloved,

The wonderful thing about greatness is that it is impossible to ignore or dismiss. It cannot be overlooked! It is for this reason God Almighty and Creator of All, plants a seed of greatness in the heart of every believer immediately they surrender their life to Him.
One of the reasons He does this is for the sake of critical communication.

“God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” – John 4:24

When it comes to the call of God over our lives, we must be able and willing to respond.

“Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; All Your waves and billows have gone over me.” -Psalms‬ ‭42‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

We can agree that God is great. We are made. In His likeness and image, charged with reflecting His glory. We reflect His glory and greatness when we allow ourselves to be Spirit-filled and Spirit led. As we said the last time, that something appears small does not indicate that it is not great. It is the impact of a thing that defines its greatness. God gives us things in seed form- even the voice of His Holy Spirit can sound small (1 Kings 19:11-13). As everything thing that represents the Kingdom of God on the earth, it will start small. But when it gets into your hand and heart, it must not remain small.

There is greatness inside of you. There is greatness ahead of you. Service your relationship with the Holy Spirit effectively. Make it your priority, otherwise you will be limited. There is a reason Jesus gives us the parable of the talents in Matthew 25 and the parable of the seed in Mark 4. Greatness is a law of His Kingdom. As a child of His kingdom, you must be ready to embrace greatness. This starts with acknowledging Him as great and partnering with Him to do great things on the earth. I cannot stress it enough- you cannot afford to stay small on this side of eternity. It is your responsibility to partner with the Holy Spirit to be and produce greatness- that is lasting impact on this side of eternity so that you can enjoy God and all of His greatness for all eternity.

I commend you to God and the Word of His Grace. I call you blessed and nations.
