Matthew 25:14-15
For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. 15 And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey.
Beloved,
When we pray, we ask the Lord to grant out requests. While God loves to grant our requests, we must understand how He operates. Sometimes, He operates as a businessman; other times, as a farmer; and other times, as a father. In other words, we must see God from the dimension from which He chooses to relate with us per time. God usually initiates His communication with us from what we can understand and then take us further by revealing a deeper dimension of Himself.
Today, we will be looking into how God operates as a businessman.
When you see an intelligent businessman and you ask him to give you a loan of $10,000, what he will ask you first is what do you want to use the money for? He will not be emotional about it or give you the money based on your relationship with him. The most important question is what do you need the money for? When he discovers that you are not planning to invest the money but rather desire to spend it on your pleasure, he will not give you what you asked for but a stipend he can afford to part with. We have to understand that God operates in like manner.
Beloved, is your request from God worth the investment of heaven? If it is not worth the investment of heaven, the best that God will give you is a stipend – something that is not going to break the economy of the kingdom. The reason why heaven is not investing in many is because their proposals are not strong enough to draw investment.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
