Faith and covenant are fundamentals to living victoriously as believers. Think about faith as food and the anointing as supplements. You can also think about faith as the normal economic system of a country and the anointing a stimulus plan the government of a nation engages to mitigate economic downturn. Ideally, God expects you to primarily live by your own faith and use the anointing as a supplement.
Covenant comes to play to take care of moments when the faith of man would want to fail. God makes an allowance for covenants to strengthen the conviction of man about God’s commitment to His word and the fulfillment of it.
The devil will always come against the basis for your faith but let the covenant God made with you be strong enough to keep you living a victorious life. Your faith in Christ and the covenant God has made with you will surely help you through any situation you find yourself.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
