Beloved,
If you are living your life in Christ properly, your past, present and future should be in sync to prosper you. It should reflect your journey to fulfilling destiny. Ask yourself, “does my past contribute to where I’m heading in my future?
If it does not, the time is now to make sure you have really given your life to Christ.
Your future begins with Him. If you believe you have met Jesus, but you have not started afresh or made a U-turn, then you have not really met Him. Beloved, everything you have done matters to God. That is why surrendering our lives to Him is the best thing we can do. He takes everything about us, including our past and uses it to prosper us. You might think something from your past is shameful, but it may contribute to who God wants you to become. Trust God with everything about your past. Allow God to purify you all the way. Let your past become your testimony and see how God will help you benefit from it.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
