Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Isaiah 49:18-19
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
Beloved,
Your past is real! Don’t deny it. But as real as your past is, know that your future is even more real. Just like your past can influence your future, your future can override your past. That’s right! The power of the future can negate your past! If you understand what that means for you, you will shout “Hallelujah!”
As we said yesterday, God can use your past, therefore, you should not waste it or allow the devil to snatch it from you. However, understand that it is not everything from your past that God will use. You must find out quickly what those things are that He will not use. Once you understand there is something from your past God deems unfit to salvage or repurpose, be sure you learn from it and let it go. Beloved, you should make it a habit to learn from everything you experience in your past. Your future depends on it. But don’t allow the perverted past to enter into your present. If you do not learn better from your past, it is a matter of time before your perverted past overtakes your future. Don’t be afraid to make certain things your past. As you move forward in Christ, you see better and can make a determination of what must become your past, where you should be at present and what should become your glorious future.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
